My name is Pei-Yan Kang, a young Art Director & Graphic Designer born in Taiwan, on March 24th, 2001. I started working in fashion during my early teens, creating conceptual collections that explored themes like motherhood and psychology. These projects eventually led to several honors and set the foundation for my creative path. Over time, my role naturally shifted into art direction through deep collaborations with the artists and clients I worked with.
My work today includes award-winning fashion collection and editorial campaigns, fashion films, creative consulting, and visual storytelling projects across disciplines.
After finishing my aesthetic studies in high school, I studied Fashion Design at Shih Chien University, one of Asia’s leading institutions in fashion and innovation. There, I spent four years honing my skills in pattern-making while engaging with the industry hands-on.
As my interest in visual communication grew stronger, I decided to pursue a Master’s in Fashion Art Direction at Polimoda in Florence. I’m now based in Milan, where I’m currently working as an Art Director intern, expanding my creative language through real-world projects.
I’m driven by the tension between concept and humanity, and I believe in storytelling that challenges perception!sometimes poetic, sometimes raw, but always deeply human.
