STILL PROCESSING
This is a story about the coexistence of light and darkness. Through the imagery of "floating and sinking" and the ordinariness of daily life, it explores how humans confront their inner darkness and struggles, ultimately reaching reconciliation.
Human instinct is to seek the light, yearn for beauty, and avoid pain. However, in an era of information overload and rampant materialism, people often choose to ignore their inner darkness to maintain a “positive” image, leading to imbalance and self-loss. We fear darkness but have never truly understood its meaning. In reality, true life encompasses both light and darkness—one cannot exist without the other.
A Buddhist scripture states: "Since ancient times, Buddha and demons have coexisted. The Buddha attains enlightenment through the heart’s demons, while demons disturb the Buddha’s mind. These demons stem from the sixth realm and are influenced by human emotions and desires. To cultivate Buddhism is to realize enlightenment. But how does one attain enlightenment? It is said that enlightenment comes from within—only through sensory perception and personal experience can one grasp its true essence. Merely listening to Buddhist teachings is futile; one must embody and transcend them. The path to enlightenment is arduous, as demons arise from the heart and must be confronted, not expelled."
This suggests that growth and transcendence come from facing and understanding one's inner demons rather than suppressing or eradicating them.
The music video will feature unique actress as its core, using their physical movements to portray this internal struggle. Their gestures will be intimately connected with the ocean, symbolizing the fluidity of life—sometimes floating.
